10. Hypoglycemia
Hypoglycemia is also a sign and symptom of alcohol poisoning. Glucose is important since it gives us plenty of energy to carry on with our daily activities. There is usually a certain amount of glucose that flows through our body and is transported to the different cells to provide us with energy. It’s important that our glucose level do not get exceedingly high or low.
Hypoglycemia refers to a condition where there is not enough glucose in the blood and this can happen if you have alcohol poisoning. This can also lead to several other symptoms, including seizures. If someone is suffering from seizures after drinking too much alcohol, you should immediately bring the patient to the hospital for proper medical treatment.
