One of the first signs to keep an eye out for is exhaustion. The adrenal system helps the body to meet its energy needs. At any point when you experience a stressful event or situation your body utilizes the power of adrenaline to keep you awake and alert. However, if you have been under constant stress for a prolonged period of time, your body may lose the ability to produce more adrenaline or it can become insensitive to its presence. This is known as adrenal deficiency. If you begin to find that you are lethargic no matter how much you have slept, there is a good chance that you are suffering from adrenal fatigue. This is especially so for those who are already keeping a healthy exercise regime.
