5. Feeling Worse After Eating
Our pancreas has a huge responsibility in digesting and regulating insulin levels in our bodies. It helps in converting the food we eat to the energy that we need in order to function properly. This means that it works harder after every meal.
One other sign of acute pancreatitis is experiencing discomfort and pain right after eating. Although this symptom is not considered a serious health concern and not an illness itself, it may expose the patient to other complications such as loss of appetite and malnutrition. Not being able to consume the right amount of food and nutrients especially when ill is a huge risk as certain diseases may progress due to this.
