8. Fat
Considering our organs and the brain are made of fat, eating it is good for us. However, there are good fats and bad fats. Good ones include olive and coconut oils, sesame and peanut oils, avocado, and nuts, fish, and seeds. It’s the bad ones, though, that can cause malignant growths.
Trans fats are formed when gases are added to a vegetable oil to make it solid. These have been directly linked to breast cancer. The jury is out on exactly how, so more studies are required. However, it’s wise to stay away from fried foods like french fries, cookies, crackers, pastries, and generally processed foods.
