Sinus is a cavity that is filled with air and located in the skull. The sinus cavities come in four pairs – the ethmoid sinus cavities, sphenoid sinus cavities, maxillary sinus cavities, and frontal sinus cavities.

According to experts, almost 10% of people around the world have extra sinus that narrows the transitional space of the nose. This increases the possibility of suffering from a sinus infection.
