4. Headache

People with walking pneumonia will show several symptoms that are similar to typical pneumonia, such as a headache. In fact, a prominent headache is one of the most obvious signs of atypical pneumonia. The headache can be mild or severe and will usually worsen in the next few days.

If you have a headache and suspect that you have walking pneumonia, make sure that you hydrate yourself. Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration. Dehydration will only exacerbate your headache. You can take over the counter pain medications to ease the pain. Getting plenty of rest will also help with headache relief.
