5. Genital Pain
Genital pain is also a Urinary tract infection symptom. There are also cases when patients complain about pain in the pelvic region, including the genitals, even when they were not urinating. The pain is usually dull and persistent, and is hard to ignore.
When the treatment starts, the pain can somehow be relieved. However, if there is no improvement after several days of treatment, a medical professional may need to conduct further investigation. Discomfort is a common response to the various issues that come with the infection. However, a persistent pain that does not have any obvious source is an indication that something else is wrong.
