7. Aching Body

Having a sore and aching body can also be a sign and symptom of upper respiratory tract infection. This symptom is predominant to cases which are more serious than normal or those that are lasting for a couple of weeks.

An aching body due to an upper respiratory tract infection can be characterized by muscle and joint soreness without any obvious reasons such as intense physical activity. URTI may result in inflamed muscles due to the leukocytes that are produced excessively to combat the infection thus causing the aches and pains in the body.
