7. Small Handwriting
One of the earliest signs of Parkinson’s disease is the change of handwriting. Usually, the patient’s handwriting will become smaller than the usual. There will be a significant decrease in the letter sizes as well as the spaces between the words.
This is a common symptom of Parkinson’s disease, which health experts call as micrographia. It happens as a result of some changes in the brain, which is responsible for controlling the patient’s motor skills. This will make it hard for the patient to have control over the movement of his or her hands and fingers.
