As the illness starts to progress, the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease will become more obvious. At the advanced stage, the patient will start to notice some changes in his or her speech pattern, as well as facial appearance. The face will have a fixed and vacant expression, which some call as the “Parkinson’s mask.”
