8. Irregular Heart Beat
Lyme disease can also trigger uneven or irregular heartbeats on some people. Those who are suffering from this symptom will feel an unusual rhythm in their heart. They will feel like their heart is skipping in a beat and is sometimes accompanied by a pounding sensation while the heart beats very rapidly.
In most cases, the irregular beating of the heart will appear at the second or third stage of the Lye disease. Heart palpitations are common and it’s not always due to Lyme disease. Also, this symptom will eventually disappear. Those who suffer from irregular heartbeat due to Lyme disease will only have this symptom for a few days or weeks.
