4. Nerve Pain
Nerve pain is another common symptom of Lyme disease. Patients with lyme disease will suffer from nerve pain in various ways. Some people will feel a chronic prickling or tingling of the nerves throughout the day. Others will experience nerve pain as a stabbing pain at night.
The nerve pain can also lead to weakness and numbness of the extremities. Sometimes, the patient will feel shooting pains that will appear intermittently in the tendons, muscles, nerves, and bones. If you are suffering from these uncomfortable sensations along with a host of other symptoms, it can indicate that the disease is already at a serious phase.
