3. Severe Body Aches and Headache
It is also common for people with Lyme disease to suffer from body aches and headaches. In most cases, these are due to the presence of flu and other body ailments. However, a severe headache which comes with neck stiffness is a sure sign of Lyme disease and will, therefore, require immediate medical attention.
Some patients will experience muscle aches all over the body. While these symptoms can only be felt in the initial stage of the disease, there are also instances when the patient will feel body aches at the second or third phase of the disease.
