9. Restless Legs
Restless leg is another common symptom of iron deficiency. This condition will cause the legs to move constantly when at rest, especially during sleep. The restless leg syndrome can also lead to itchiness, and sometimes, the patient will notice strange crawling sensations in the legs and feet.
Since the restless leg syndrome becomes worse at night, patients who suffer from this symptom will find it difficult to get enough sleep. Unfortunately, not having enough sleep can make some other symptoms even worse. If you are already feeling tired, you will get tired even more because of the lack of sleep.
