8. Irregular Heartbeat
Irregular heartbeat is a common sign and symptom of high blood pressure. This secondary effect of having a high blood pressure can be determined by racing, pounding, skipping, and even stopping of heartbeat for a second. It is usually mistaken as regular heart palpitations.
Although palpitations are quite common and are not considered a severe condition, experiencing this when you have high blood pressure may put you at risk of more serious circumstances. Keep in mind to observe your irregular heartbeats and consult your physician for a much proper diagnosis, as it may also be a hint to other illnesses.
