6. Irritability
Another commonly observed symptom of hand foot and mouth disease is irritability. This is usually common among younger kids and infants who are prone to mood swings and will get easily annoyed for no reason.
Although HFMD is common on kids, there are rare situations when it can occur on adults too. Adults who will contract the disease will also find themselves irritable and moody. They will always feel agitated and will get frustrated or upset even for the smallest reasons. Just like with the other symptoms of the disease, the feeling of irritability will be relieved once HFMD is treated.
