5. Red Rashes
Red rashes is another sign and symptom of hand foot mouth disease. Aside from the blisters, red rashes will also occur in those infected with hand, foot, and mouth disease. As the name suggests, these rashes will usually emerge in the hand, foot, and mouth areas of the patient.
These tiny red rashes will usually appear at the palms of the hands as well as on the soles of the feet. Sometimes, the rashes will appear in the buttocks. These rashes are not usually itchy, but they get blistered occasionally especially if the patient scratches them. Once the rashes heal, the skin will start to peel, but this is normally harmless.
