4. Blisters Inside Mouth
When a person is suspected of having hand foot and mouth disease, one of the symptoms that the doctor will most likely check for is the presence of blisters inside the mouth. The blisters can grow in the gums, tongue, cheeks, and other areas in the mouth.
Sometimes, small and painful sores or ulcers will also appear on the throat and tonsils. These sores will usually appear only after a couple of days of developing fever and will eventually disappear along with the other symptoms once the disease is treated. If the blisters do not disappear even after HFMD is treated, then the patient should immediately seek medical help.
