8. Nausea

Nausea is also a symptom of glaucoma. The headache and eye pain that the patient will experience due to glaucoma can lead to nausea. Plus, vision issues can further aggravate the nauseous feeling. If the glaucoma attack suddenly occurs, the nauseous can  sometimes lead to vomiting.

Most glaucoma attacks usually happen in dark rooms since the pupils will dilate in order to match the level of light. This means that a patient with glaucoma will most likely feel nauseated in dark places, such as movie theaters. Most of the time, the patient’s vision issues can trigger dizziness that can further intensify the nauseous feeling and may even lead to vomiting.
