3. Nausea
Another sign of gastritis is nausea. A lot of those who were diagnosed with gastritis complained about feeling nauseous. Sometimes, gastritis nausea can occur even when the stomach is empty. This may also lead to vomiting, although this only happens in rare cases. Some patients will complain of feeling a bit queasy which ranges from slightly uncomfortable to extremely agonizing, often accompanied by grumbling and lurching stomach.
To relieve the symptom, some patients will take anti- nauseous over the counter medications. However, this is only a short-term solution. The feeling will go back again after eating a meal or when the patient eats something that can trigger the sensation.
