8. Arthralgia
Arthralgia was coined from the Greek terms arthro and algos which translates to joint pain. This condition can be encountered by people who have injuries, allergies, disorders, or even infections. Although treatments for joint pains are easily and readily available in the market, proper treatment for arthralgia depends on its primary cause.
Arthralgia caused by the fifth disease can be controlled by pain relievers and topical capsaicin. Different ointments, creams, and oils that contain salicylic acids such as methyl salicylate may also ease the discomfort and it blocks the pain signals of the body. Long-term arthralgia must not be neglected as it may trigger other disorders.
