2. Pain

Pain is a common sign of chronic fatigue syndrome. It is normal to feel occasional aches and pains in our body. Sometimes, this happens after putting our body in an awkward position for a long time. Injury or illness may also cause us to suffer from aches and pains in some parts of our body. The pain will eventually subside after a while, however this is not the case for people with chronic fatigue syndrome because the pain tends to linger for a long time.

These body aches and pains will most likely affect the muscles and joints and can range from mild to severe. Sometimes, the muscles and joints will become very stiff. It can linger for weeks, and there are cases where it could last for several months!
