10. Severe Mouth Pain
Patients who are usually experiencing the uncommon symptoms of a burning mouth syndrome may encounter severe mouth pain along with other less obvious signs. It may start as discomfort and may progress to soreness and later moderate to intense pain that is felt in one area of the mouth or all around it.
Whenever you experience severe mouth pain, it is important to remember that this symptom does not usually go away immediately. Some may continue for weeks or even years. That is why an immediate consultation with your doctor is recommended instead of temporarily alleviating the pain.
