8. Fainting
Blood clots are either stationary or embolic. If the blood clot is stationary, it remains in the same affected area. If it is embolic, the clump breaks into smaller pieces and usually travels to the body including the lungs. Once these clots reach the lungs, breathing difficulties and other respiratory problems may happen.
Due to these problems, the flow of oxygen in the brain is usually affected as well which in return leads to dizziness and even fainting. Odd and sudden fainting is often diagnosed incorrectly as this symptom is common in most illnesses. Consult your doctor if a blood clot is suspected.
