4. Inability to Urinate
Many of the bladder cancer symptoms are related to having mild to extreme discomfort or pain in urination. At the early stages of cancer, usual symptoms are not noticeable and sometimes overlooked as it does not cause any disturbance in everyday life. However, as the cancer progresses, much more severe symptoms may occur such as the inability to urinate.
The symptom usually starts as difficulty in urinating. As the tumor grows, there is more blockage in the ureter that causes the impairment. When it grows big enough to block the entire passageway, a patient may no longer be able to urinate which may lead to other complications.
