10. Skin Problems
There are autoimmune diseases that carry out its effects even on the outer parts of the body such as the skin. One of these is Psoriasis, a common skin illness that does not have any cure. Psoriasis is due to the rapid production of skin cells that leads to dry, flaky, and scaly skin.
Psoriasis is often associated with having a very itchy skin along with swollen and uncomfortable sensation in the joints. Though psoriasis cannot be cured much like any other autoimmune disease, there are a lot of treatments to alleviate its symptoms such as topical medications and over the counter medications.
