7. Decreased Judgment
Another common symptom of Alzheimer’s disease is decreased judgment. In some cases, people with Alzheimer’s will find it hard to make the right choices and decisions. Sometimes, they will decide without even thinking clearly. This can lead to irrational decisions and bad decision-making.
When making decisions about finances, patients with Alzheimer’s may not be able to compute properly. Thus, they may end up paying more than what they are supposed to. They will also find themselves making payments several times. Therefore, patients with Alzheimer’s should ask assistance from a trusted person when paying or when making decisions regarding finances.
