6. Problems Speaking
Another sign of alzheimer’s is having problem conversing. Most patients with Alzheimer’s will find it hard to follow everyday conversations. This will make it difficult for them to have good conversations with friends and family members. They tend to feel lost or confused and may not be able to remember the things they just said earlier.
Sometimes, people with Alzheimer’s will initiate a conversation with another person but won’t be able to keep up with it. They will also have a tendency to repeat phrases or words they have mentioned earlier. Some patients will also forget vocabulary and will find it hard to find the right words to say. It’s also common for them to call people and things by the wrong name.
