10. Prunes and Prune Juice
Fruits may not be a popular source of iron, but there are certain fruits that have plenty of iron in them. Prunes, which are often used as remedies for constipation, are actually good sources of iron. Its juices are also great sources of iron.
For instance, one glass of prune juice has about 3 mg of iron and that’s 17% of your recommended daily intake. If you prefer to eat prunes, one cup of these fruits has about 1.6 mg of iron. Prunes are also loaded with fiber, B Vitamins, Vitamin K, potassium, phosphorus, manganese, copper, and magnesium.
