Added sugar. Two small words that hurt us very badly. Sugar is made up of fructose and glucose. Our cells need glucose to live, but we get too much of the other. Tests on mice showed that it was fructose instead of its buddy that caused malignant growths in the mice.
That’s because sugar is the gasoline that drives the car of carcinogens. It speeds inflammation which makes the cells go crazy. Don’t get us wrong; inflammation is a good thing. It protects an injury from further harm. But these tests show that too much of it causes malignant growths.
We are recommended to stay away from processed foods of any sort to avoid overdosing on sugar.
