8. Anemia
Anemia is a medical condition wherein a lack of red blood cells is observed. It can either be acute or chronic. A patient can be anemic due to the loss of a lot of blood, inadequate production of red blood cells, or is caused by another disease that kills red blood cells.
People who are suffering from anemia lack oxygen-rich blood in the cells of their body which leads to weakness and dizziness. Anemia can be easily treated during the early stages; however, if it is left untreated, certain types of anemia such as sickle cell anemia can be fatal and have very serious complications.
