8. Foreign Bodies In The Nose
Aside from the unusual practice of excessively picking the nose that is mostly observed in children, another usual factor that is noticed within the younger age group is the presence of foreign bodies in the nose. It can be anything that is not naturally present within our nasal cavities such as small particles like sand, a piece of paper, tiny toys, and even tips of pencils.
Children, especially toddlers, are mostly very curious about everything which makes them put things on their noses and mouths that lead to nosebleeds. Adults may also experience this by inhaling a harmful particle that can cause dryness of the nasal lining.
