3. Nose Blowing
When we experience colds or runny noses, we usually eliminate the excess mucus produced by our body by blowing our nose. It is a normal reaction and is recommended by medical providers. It helps in clearing congestion in order for the patient to breathe as normally as possible. However, blowing the nose with a lot of pressure may cause it to bleed.
The bleeding happens when there is a presence of ruptured tissue in the sinus due to far too much pressure from blowing the nose. When you have a nosebleed after blowing your nose, it is an indication that you may have caused damage to your blood vessels.
