10. Deviated Septum
Our septum is delicate cartilage that divides our nostrils. It is designed to equally separate the two nostrils evenly. In most cases, people normally have even-sized nostrils due to proper placement of the septum; however, there are certain cases wherein a deviated septum is observed.
It may be due to fetal developmental issues or even injuries at birth. Most deviated septums do not need any treatments at all since they are not causing any major signs and symptoms. Although this is the usual case, experiencing nosebleed can still be observed with people who have a deviated septum.
