9. Anal Fissures

Anal fissures are considered wounds that form in the outer lining of the anus. It is usually a tear or a cut-like wound that causes blood in stool. People who have constipation are usually at high risk of developing anal fissures as it is usually due to the passing of large or hard feces during a bowel movement.

If you experience difficulty in defecating followed by a sharp or burning pain around the anus, you may have developed anal fissures. It usually heals on its own even without treatments and medications. Drinking plenty of water and eating adequate fibers can help you avoid anal fissures.
