As what a famous athlete once said, “motivation is what drives you to get started, but habit is what makes you keep going.” As such, coming up with a habit or a routine can help in managing your diabetes. Here are some ideas to consider for an evening routine to help you with your diabetes management.
Take a Test Before Bedtime
To ensure that you wake up with a blood sugar level within healthy range, it would help to know what your blood sugar level is before you go to bed. By doing so, you will be able to catch an out-of-range blood sugar level at least before you sleep. As a diabetes patient, the last thing you want is to wake up with an extremely high or low blood sugar level.
