4. Irritability
Irritability is one of the most telltale signs of tetanus. It is often accompanied by several other symptoms, such as restlessness and fatigue. Tetanus may also affect the individual’s psychological state since it will interfere with the nerve transmission between the muscles and the nervous system. A lot of those who get infected with tetanus can show signs of irritability at the early stages of the infection. They will also show signs of drooling and losing their appetite as a result.
