3. Headache
You can experience headaches if you get infected with tetanus. Generally, the symptoms will start appearing after eight days of initial infection. However, they can also manifest as late as 3 weeks of having initial contact with the bacteria. The bacterial nature of the infection can trigger headaches since it can interfere with the nerves in your nervous system. Therefore, if you believe that you have been infected with tetanus, visit the nearest hospital in your area as soon as you can.
Aside from the headaches, you can also experience several other accompanying symptoms, such as fever and stiffness of the neck.
