7. Suffering From Chills, Hot Flashes, and Fever
Another set of symptoms you may experienced during the flu is chills and fever. You can go from feeling extremely cold and not being able to stop shivering to extremely hot and wanting to remove your clothing. Going from one extreme to the other can be awful. This may occur because you are probably having a fever which will require medical treatment as well.
You may experience a fever as high as 103 degrees. This can easily be treated with fever-reducing medicine. Therefore, it is important to visit the doctor as soon as possible.
One thing to keep in mind is when you have a fever you are the most contagious. Therefore, be considerate to the people around you. Wear a face mask and avoid unnecessary contact with other people. If a family member or friend is providing care for you, remind them to take necessary precaution as well.
