9. Decreased Wound Healing
One known symptom of diabetes is decreased wound healing. A healthy body commonly heals wounds within several days. If you notice longer healing time than this or is only getting worse over time rather than curing, prediabetes can be one of the reasons. This symptom is often overlooked as an inability to heal and is frequently viewed as a developed infection. However, it may also denote that your blood sugar is extremely high.
The human body needs the right amount of sugar to heal wounds, if your wound does not heal properly at the right time, consult with your physician for possible prediabetes.
