6. Excessive Sensitivity
Heightened sensitivity is also a panic attack symptom. When our body goes into a fight or flight mode, it is often ready to react in such a way that will avoid harm in general. This results in a heightened sensitivity that is excessive and not normal. This symptom is also encountered by people who are suffering from anxiety and other mental health issues.
People who develop this type of symptom usually have increased auditory senses as they may hear sounds that can’t be observed by people with neutral or normal sensitivity. Though it generally does not cause any pain, it may bring huge uneasiness to the sufferer especially those who are not used to having panic attacks.
