6. White Patches
Having white patches in your mouth is one telling sign of oral thrush. Fungi in general are not considered as something harmful or risky for the body, in fact, there are bodily functions such as digestion and nutrient absorption that require fungi to operate properly. The only time these useful fungi become a hazard is when it grows rapidly into a huge number.
In conditions such as oral thrush, when this sudden growth happens, it can manifest and seen as white patched all around the mouth. Most of these patches do not pose a serious pain; however, it can be very unpleasant and may cause total discomfort especially when consuming anything through the mouth.
