Since most lymph nodes are positioned just under the skin, signs of non-Hodgkin lymphoma may also show on our skin. When lymphomas become evident through the skin it may appear as a bruised lump that can either be itchy, tender, or completely painless.

There are two kinds of lymphocytes that may trigger this symptom, the T-cell and B-cell lymphocyte. T-cell lymphoma usually results in flat rash-like spots on the skin that are thick and hard to touch. B-cell lymphoma may manifest as normal rashes that are bumpy but smooth. Though it is not a serious and fatal symptom, it may lead to further complications if proper medical attention is not given.
