10. Loss of Appetite
Some people who have iron deficiency will also notice a loss of appetite. This is usually more common among kids than adults. Because of this, kids who lack iron are often losing a significant amount of weight. So if you notice your child is losing appetite, you better take your child to the doctor to check for iron deficiency.
Parents must also encourage their kids to eat foods that are high in iron in order to avoid this symptom. There are plenty of vegetables that have enough iron in them, including legumes, spinach, and broccoli. Meat, turkey, liver, shellfish, and even dark chocolate are also loaded with iron.
