10. Problems Coping
Some people with dementia will usually find it hard to cope with all the changes happening in their lives. This is because they process information slower and suffer from short term memory loss.
They will feel like someone has taken over their minds and that they do not have any control over a particular situation or circumstance. This can create fear in them and will give them more reason to withdraw from society. The patient will also start to crave for stricter routine and will try to avoid as many surprising situations as possible.
