6. Itching and Burning In or Around the Vagina
One early symptom of chlamydia in women which will show after the patent is infected is itchiness in and around the vagina. After this early symptom of chlamydia, the patient will feel a burning sensation in the area. The itchiness and discomfort can only be relieved after the affected area is scratched.
If chlamydia is left untreated, the itching and burning sensation will get worse as the infection continues to progress. Eventually, the patient may find it difficult to have sexual intercourse because of the extreme discomfort which is present at all times.
