7. Restless Legs
Iron deficiency has been traced back to restless leg syndrome. This condition occurs when your body is at rest but the urge to move your legs becomes incredibly strong. This condition can result in an itchy, strange and unpleasant feeling of crawling in your legs or your feet. This generally becomes worse at night, You may experience difficulty sleeping through the night. Although the cause of this condition is not completely understood, as many as 25 percent of all individuals with restless leg syndrome have anemia. Your condition will worsen when your iron levels are very low.
