10. Organ Failure
One of the most dangerous symptom of blood infection or sepsis is organ failure. As mentioned earlier, each organ in our body needs oxygen-rich blood to flow in it in order for it to function well. Though blood infections can be easily treated nowadays, in severe cases, it may cause a total organ failure which is a grave health issue. We need each organ to work properly in order for us to survive and live as healthy as possible.
Having one collapsed vital organ may put the patient at risk of fatality. If a suspected organ failure is noticed, it should be considered a medical emergency and proper treatment shall be done immediately to avoid damaging other parts of the body and even death.
