Sugar free products lead to weight gain
So-called diet beverages, are often labelled as sugar free. However, instead of helping a person lose weight, it increases the chances of weight gain and obesity. There have been numerous studies to support this claim – people who consumed sugar-free drinks gained more pounds than those who didn’t. Some tests conducted on adolescents found that artificially-sweetened beverages caused their body mass index to increase, followed by more fat deposits in the body.
