At all cost, avoid canned fruits if you have diabetes. Especially those with sugar syrups! You are going to wreck your blood sugar levels if you take these unhealthy snacks. The fruits are typically processed and kept for a long time which kills the freshness of the fruits and also destroys the nutrients. Obviously, you can still take them in moderation without the syrups but if you have access to fresh fruits, why choose the canned ones?
Tip: Dump the canned fruits you have in your fridge now.
